Privacy Policy
How we handle your information when you use Fluxway, our VPN application for HarmonyOS.
1. Overview
Fluxway is operated by an individual developer, wrh (“we”, “us”, or “our”), based in Luoyang, China. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
This policy explains what information we process, why we use it, how long we retain it, and how you can exercise your rights. It applies to Fluxway users outside mainland China and to privacy requests submitted through this website. Fluxway is a client application: we do not provide VPN servers, subscriptions, or an account service. You import your own configuration and choose your service providers.
2. Information we collect
Configuration and local settings
Fluxway supports VPN configurations imported from a local file or a URL you provide. Configuration content, names, source URLs, file names, creation times, and the active configuration are stored on your device. Configuration content and source URLs may contain server details or authentication credentials. Theme and display preferences are also stored locally.
Connection information and local logs
To operate the VPN and display connection information, the app processes source and destination addresses, domain names where available, network and protocol details, connection times, routing information, and upload and download counters on your device. The traffic screen can display destination information.
Local connection information is distinct from developer-side collection. Fluxway processes destination and domain information on your device to operate the VPN and display connections. We do not operate a backend that collects your VPN browsing activity. The practices of the VPN, DNS, and configuration providers you choose are governed by their own policies.
The app also displays sing-box operational logs. Their contents depend on the core and the imported configuration. The main in-memory app log buffer retains up to 3,000 entries and is cleared when a new connection starts or the normal stop flow succeeds; this is not a retention guarantee for all core logs, system logs, or diagnostic events.
Network requests and diagnostics
Downloading a configuration sends requests to the URL you enter. VPN, DNS, and other configured network connections contact the destinations selected by that configuration. Those providers can receive information necessary to handle the connection, including the connecting IP address.
Network interface information is used to establish and maintain the VPN. Fault events and operating-system logs are used for troubleshooting. Fluxway has no developer-operated VPN or account backend.
Information you provide
If you contact us, we process your email address, your message, and the information needed to respond to your support or privacy request. Please do not send passwords, VPN credentials, or browsing histories.
Local processing supports the client functions you choose to use. We use correspondence to answer your requests and meet applicable obligations.
3. Third-party SDKs & services
Fluxway uses the following software libraries to provide its client functions.
VPN core and application libraries
Fluxway uses sing-box for VPN processing, Axios for network requests, DataORM for local database access, and HMRouter and scroll components for navigation and presentation. Network destinations depend on your imported configuration and actions. These library roles do not establish that their authors receive your data.
4. Data storage & international transfers
Your imported configurations and app preferences are stored on your device. Downloaded configuration files may remain separately from database entries. The app supports system backup and restore; backup copies are subject to your device and backup-service settings.
- Local configurations and preferences. These remain until removed from app storage. Deleting a configuration entry does not necessarily remove its downloaded source file or a backup copy. Device app-data and backup controls can be used to manage those copies.
- Connection displays and logs. The main app log buffer is held in memory as described in Section 2. Core logs and cache behavior depend on the imported configuration. System logs are managed by the platform.
- Support and privacy emails. We retain correspondence while handling your request and delete the copies under our control within 90 days after the request is completed, unless applicable law requires longer retention. Email-provider retention is subject to that provider’s policies.
We are based in China. When you email us, your message is made available to us there through our Petal Mail address. Your email provider and Petal Mail process the message as part of delivery and storage. Do not include sensitive VPN credentials or configuration files in an initial request.
VPN, DNS, and configuration-download traffic goes to the providers specified in your configuration. Their locations may be outside your country. We do not operate those services or set their data-retention policies.
This privacy website is hosted on the developer’s own server in Japan at privacy.suwunanfei.com/. This server hosts the policy pages; it is not a Fluxway VPN or account backend.
Configuration records are stored in the app’s local storage. No method of transmission or storage can guarantee absolute security. Protect your device and review the providers and configurations you use.
5. Your privacy rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, or an export in a commonly used format. You may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, and complain to your local data protection authority.
Visit our Privacy Rights page for instructions. We aim to respond within 30 working days, or sooner where applicable law requires. If an extension is permitted and needed, we will explain the reason and expected timing.
We may need proportionate verification to protect your information. If data has already been deleted or cannot be associated with you, we will explain what we can provide. Where a request cannot be fully fulfilled, we will explain the applicable reason.
6. Children’s privacy
Fluxway is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Where local law sets a higher minimum age, that requirement applies. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can investigate and arrange appropriate deletion.
7. Policy updates
We will publish updates on this page and revise the effective date. For material changes, we will provide a prominent notice in the app or another appropriate notification before the change takes effect, and obtain consent where required.
